At Mines I took advanced level math ending with partial differential equations so algebra is well within my comfort zone. Suring this college and since then I've tutored several friends in algebra. Since graduating I have studied philosophy and become an avid reader and writer. In addition to helping friends with essays I have completed three novels and so am also confident in my ability to help with writing assignments. I enjoy learning and teaching so tutoring is the perfect work for me to keep my mind sharp and happy. I currently am learning my fathers engineering business so that I can one day be self employed.

Hobbies
I've always been fascinated with science which is why I went into engineering. After graduating I was not exactly anxious for a job but the freedom that life offers. Since being very young I remember just wanting to go out somewhere and explore and so once finished with what I felt to be my obligations (school) I moved to Durango for a sabbatical of sorts. There I worked just enough to get by while spending the rest of my time reading, writing, and exploring the southwest. When setting off for this adventure I was apprehensive as I was not sure it was the wisest decision but looking back would do it a thousand times over. Since returning to the the front range I have continued to write and investigate science and philosophy and feel like tutoring is a good way to retain my other skills.
