I currently reside in Golden, Colorado, where I'm a graduate student at Colorado School of Mines. My goal is to obtain a master's degree. I graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor's degree in mechanical and energy engineering. During my undergraduate education, I tutored my peers in science, math, and engineering. I love to learn, and in my opinion, learning is an essential skill for leading a successful life. My approach in tutoring consists of getting to know my students as individuals and tailoring lessons to their particular interests. My goal is to improve their skills so that they can achieve their academic goals.Subjects I am available to tutor include mechanical engineering, science, and all levels of math, from elementary and middle school math to pre-algebra and algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and pre-calculus. I am willing to tutor students over the summer and to help them prepare for taking standardized tests such as the ACT and GRE.When I'm not working I like to read, hike, ride my bicycle, and work with computers.
