ExperienceAfter receiving my degree in Psychology and Human Development, I decided to go for my master's and will be finishing it in 2016. During college, I was an intern at a school that focused on caring for children with behavioral disorders, and I continued working for this organization up until 2014. After I graduated college, I then was hired as a teaching assistant for a student who suffered from Autism. I helped them with their reading, math, and other educational needs. While I worked as a teaching assistant, I also tutored students ranging from elementary to high school, and helped the students with mainly math, and also English, history, and science. I love to help students with math the most because I feel there are many, many ways to teach and also understand the different methods to solving various math problems. I feel as though every student will learn in a different way, and it's crucial to learn the many different ways that each will learn or pick up on material. In my spare time I love Frisbee, hiking, skiing the slopes, and am an avid lover of the outdoors.
